To floss or not to floss- Is there a question?

Mar 8 • 1 minute read

A lot of patients ask me how often do they really need to floss. Well... it depends on how long and how healthy we want to keep our teeth. Floss can remove the bacteria from in between the teeth where they contact. It can also remove bacteria from in the gums in the space between the teeth. It is important to remember that flossing does not need to be done in conjunction with brushing the teeth. A lot of times we are too tired after brushing at bed time or in too much of a rush in the mornings. Flossing can be done at any time - as long as we remember to do it daily! Happy flossing!
